Default Savannah Holly

Hello - I'm looking for ideas on what's wrong with my Savannah Holly? I
planted an 8 ft Savannah Holly in December 2002 and the tree was doing fine
up until recently. Now the leaves are turning yellow and shedding quickly.
Is this normal for this time of the year??? If not, what are some potential
causes??? The tree is in full to partial shade, but it's my understanding
that's okay. Not sure if it makes any difference, but I'm in Houston.
Thanks in advance! Here are some pictures to help with the diagnosis.
