Hummingbirds?
"Jangchub" wrote in message ... Anyone see any yet? No, but that's not too unusual here as the plants they like aren't blooming and I never get around to setting out feeders. What disturbs me more is the lack of bees. The reason I keep oxalis is so the bees have something early. I've seen only three bees where normally they are covering the blooms. I fear the GMO industry is creating dire consequences. |

I can't go another year without a decent peach! |

Your comments about beekeeping in the other post prompted me to look it up, but it looks way too complicated. I'd like to encourage wild bees, but if they're not coming to their natural food source..... |

Hummingbirds?
I'm a bit north of Waco and I saw the first of the season just yesterday
afternoon. My feeder is up and full. In addition, the purple martins came back day before yesterday. "Jangchub" wrote in message ... Anyone see any yet? |

Hummingbirds?
"Jangchub" wrote in message ... Anyone see any yet? I am in Round Rock, and although I have not "seen" any yet, they are making short work of my feeder. I put it out about 3 weeks ago. The first week was a bust. But have seen steady consumption since. jojo |

As an aside to this discussion of hummingbirds, I think I'm going to look into bee keeping. Anyone know a place in the area which can help with this hobby? I would just be so sad if bees went away. Interesting how the president stays and stays, but the bees are leaving the planet. Hmmm. |

It means that someone hasn't reviewed her 8th grade social studies recently, the part about the terms of various elected officials set forth in the Constitution of the U.S. |

I live in Round Rock and saw my first today. About the bees........bees are
being killed by parasitic mites. A problem across the nation. So give the President a break, he is not responsible for all the problems of the World. Jim "Jangchub" wrote in message ... I wasn't indicating why bees were dying, but pointing out the fact
that bees are indeed being lost, yet he is still not impeached. Sorry to say, but Bush is part of the biggest lies our nation has ever endured and we continue to endure. It's not a blow job, friend. Almost four thousand men and women are dead and tens of thousands without limbs or massive head injuries. All based on lies. It is not ONLY mites, it is also GMO's and pesticide useage killing the bees. On Wed, 21 Mar 2007 20:51:40 -0500, "Jim Marrs" wrote: I live in Round Rock and saw my first today. Your just one of these hate filled self-loathing , hate America first left
wingers that somehow feel a sense of superiority and status with your anger. You also probably believe that the world is going to end in a few years because of global warming like so many other faith based eco-religious loonies . Get some real facts and stop with all this other political crap. You conviently forget that Clinton said the same about weapons of mass destruction. He just didnt have a huge attack on American soil but he is responsible for 911 since he did nothing to get Ben Laden when he had an opportunity. Remember this is a gardening site. Take your agenda to austin politics. JEM "Jangchub" wrote in message ... Hummingbirds?
Yes. A few trying to feed at the empty hummingbird feeder hanging up on the
front porch a couple of days ago. Noticed as was installing rain gutter in front of the house. -- Noncompliant Money don't wag the dog's tail. "Jangchub" wrote in message ... Anyone see any yet? |
