Hymenocaulis
I dug up three bulbs for this is the woods about 14 months ago and
planted them in a 5 gallon pot. I had one flowering stalk last year and this year each bulb sent out at least one flowering stalk with about a half-dozen flowers each. I cross-pollinated the flowers between plants and ended up with 4 fruits. They are green and shaped like large acorns (very small avocados) and I do not know what to do with them. The fruit just fall off when mature. Maybe there are seeds inside but the things look like they would prefer to be a baby bulb. I think these are related to Spider Lilies but I can find little on propagating them. Maybe I just cut one in half to see what is inside and plant the other three as is. Any advice?
