Some kids built one for a school play, it had four levels and
everything...after the play was over they decided it was too big to move so
they filled it with large tanks full of fish from the local pond, as a sort
of cold water aquarium.

So make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with
pitch inside and out. This is how you are to build it: The ark is to be 450
feet long, 75 feet wide and 45 feet high.......

I should have known better to start this one in urg....... ;-) But by
clean beasts I imagine they mean 'not swine'. I'm happy to say that today
has dawned bright, golden, dry and not windy. One of the dogs has been sick
everywhere but heaven forbid life should be perfect!

No, there is a definition elsewhere (in two places):

"Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is cloven-footed, and cheweth the
cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat."

"And every beast that parteth the hoof, and cleaveth the cleft into
two claws, and cheweth the cud among the beasts, that ye shall eat."

Let's not go into the equally arcane rules for other types of
animal. The one rule that really confuses me is:

"But all other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall
be an abomination unto you."

Yer whaa?
