Mile End Nurseries

I've been asked by the people at Pillnitz if we know of the Mile End
Nurseries in London. I can't find any mention of them but wonder if anyone
else knew of them?
The manager of the Pillnitz garden says that this famous Camellia very
probably came from a tree nursery near London called Mile End. Apparently,
a gardener from that nursery became a gardener to the Queen of Naples.

Google finds a reference to the nurseries of Cants of Colchester by that
name. (See also URL:http://www.cantsroses.co.uk/enquiryform.htm.)

Many thanks. I'll contact them.

That could make sense. Cants have rose fields to the west of Mile End
village just north of Colchester.

Yes, I looked at that and thank you. But while it's possible that Cants
went over entirely to rose-growing, the nursery he asked about was called
the Mile End Nursery, apparently. I could email Cants and ask them, so I'll
probably do that.
