Default O/T Warding off Midges etc.

Sometime ago, I asked on this site what product Avon sold to ward off midges
etc. After contacting Avon they sent me the following e mail :

"Thank you for your e-mail dated 27 March, regarding the product that wards
off insects.

The product you are referring to is our SSS Dry Oil Moisturising Body Spray
in Woodland Fresh. The product number you require is 26450 and this is
priced at £4.50. Although we do not advertise this as an insect repellant,
our customers do recommend it for this use. Our Quality Department have
advised me, it is the aroma of the product, which has this effect.
Citronella is in the perfume and as fragrance oils are 'propriety
compositions' and the property of the vendor, due to vendor confidentiality,
we list this ingredient as Parfum. However, this product
is marketed and sold by Avon as a bath preparation only. We would not like
to recommend any Skin-so-Soft product for any other use. If you would like
to contact us on 0845 601 4040 then one of our operators will be pleased to
assist you."

You can order the product on line (on special offer at the moment at
£2.50* - (looks like the original price is £4.50 as quoted above). Only
problem the postage is £2.50 - but probably cost effective though if
ordering more than one)

Not trying to promote Avon etc. but hope this information may be beneficial
to those who are plagued by midges etc in the garden/holidays etc. I've
ordered two bottles, and crossing my fingers that it works)
