Default Gladioli Bulb Question

Late last year I lifted my Gladioli bulbs and 3ft stems and placed in
garage.

I've been waiting about 4 months for the stems to go brown etc but they are
still green.

When should I replant these bulbs in the garden ?
Thanks.

They should be in now or as soon as the weather permits. Why did you take
them out, are you in the north? Down here we leave them in the ground
