Default Free greenhouses

Been quite a bit of advice on this newsgroup about getting a greenhouse that
looks 'out of use'. I don't know if the same thing happens all over the
country, but here on the Isle of Wight, before the Council or Housing
Association move a family into a house, it has to be 'safe' and if the
previous people have left a greenhouse behind, then it is removed AND
SCRAPPED in case the incoming little darlings put a skateboard through the
glass, cut themselves and sue said Council or Housing Association. One of my
near neighbours worked for the maintenance company who did this job and they
are quite happy to give them away. (All they have to ensure is that they are
off the property)

So find the company who does the maintenance on the houses in your area and
have a chat with them.

It pays to be friendly with your neighbours and chat with them. :-)) you
never know when you can do something for them.
