Butter beans and Chick Peas
 

As a lover of both of these I would like to try and grow them.
I can't find them in seed catalogues
Do they have other names?

Butter beans are lima beans and won't grow in the UK.

Chick peas are garbanzo beans and won't grow in the UK.

Quite why I don't know, but the information will be
out there somewhere.

You may be able to find them in US seed catalogues.

suggest you have a look at 'seeds of italy' (do a search)
they have chick pea, soya bean, lima bean, lupini bean & all sorts of
other interesting stuff to try.
