Butter beans are lima beans and won't grow in the UK.

Chick peas are garbanzo beans and won't grow in the UK.

Quite why I don't know, but the information will be
out there somewhere.

You may be able to find them in US seed catalogues.

suggest you have a look at 'seeds of italy' (do a search)
they have chick pea, soya bean, lima bean, lupini bean & all sorts of
other interesting stuff to try.
