Another mystery tree from France
I live in Southern California and 8 years ago I brought back a seed

It's the right size for an 8 years old tree. Where about did you pick the seed from? A woodland? A field? Where about in France? Ailianthus looks like this too .... |

I picked it up I think from a forest just outside of Paris (west). Ailianthus leaf edges look smoother than on this mystery tree though |

Perhaps we ought to wait for flowers. A supposed you haven't had any yet? I've never had any flowers. My guess is it doesn't like southern california weather. I also have a buck-eye (marronier) and it is surving too despite the heat. |

Not the same leaves at all indeed - ignore my madness, my happiness today has gone to my head. Our Akebia is waiting to be rehomed on a friend's balcony who is taking far too long to organise the move. Another year and I'll have it dangling into the street!! |
