Default frogs

Frogs are very good for the garden, treat them with care they are your
friends.
As to how long before becoming frogs, this is down to climate and nature,
usually the first sign is a small tail appears, followed by rear legs then
front legs and the tail disappears, they will feed on algae or fish pellets,
its fun to watch a load of tadpoles chasing a fish pellet around a pond.

Hello,

We've moved house and there's a pond in the garden. It's full of
tadpoles. How long do they take to become frogs? I hear that frogs are
good because they eat slugs; is that true?

Thanks.
