Default Ornamental Alliums

Is it worth collecting the seeds from ornamental alliums and trying to
grow them from seed?
If so, is it too late to sow now?

No, sowing them fresh is a good idea. Don't let the tiny new bulblets
freeze solid in their nursery pots. Those from a large allium flower
will take a couple of years or so to make a flowering-size bulb.

Janet.

Thanks for that - I'll give it a go.
