Default Identify my 'Acacia' please.

Hello.
At my childrens' school, there is the most wonderful tree which I've been told - by the Headmistress - is an Acacia; she added "just an normal Acacia - nothing special." I beg to differ...

It has the most fragile and delicate-looking bi-pinnate (?) leaves imaginable - and ONLY this type of leaf (shouldn't Acacias go on to develop broader leaves too?!). It is around 8 years old, 12-15 feet high, and has produced the yellow fluffballs for the first time this year.

Each leaf 'filament' is an absolutely tiny 1mm wide by around 6mm long, which gives the tree an amazing feathery appearance. I noticed this morning that they fold up at night. The tree does NOT have thorns.

Can anyone tell me what species it is from this description - or what additional information might be required for identification? I have recently bought and planted 3 Acacias (Red Wattle) but, although attractive trees in their own right, they are almost clumsy compared to the school tree - my trees only have the bi-pinnate leaves on the lower branches (with the broader leaves now taking over the tree), and even they are heavy-duty compared to the delicate 'school' tree's.

Many thanks.
