Default Kentish Bell gone loopy !

This year our 4 yr old Kentish Bell has gone mad!
Hundreds of flowers and loads of good growth. My question is when and how to
prune it to allow good growth next year.

Had a Google and not many informative answer for the amateur gardener, so
can any of the better gardeners from this NG assist please?
