A campaigning web site is being set up in about a week's time. It
will expose the Open University to an interested public in an honest
way. This is a consequence of the OU's shrinking integrity, the like
of which we have seen in that once by-word for integrity - the BBC.

The BBC had to send 16,000 of its staff members on integrity training.

The OU is no better. When integrity fails, checks and balances
sometimes follow, so this site will cater for all those who think that
the powerful OU has ridden roughshod over them. It will be run by
honourable and experienced whistleblowers. Its style should be like
Private Eye. It will not be salacious but willing to expose the OU in
its less than honest moments. For too long the OU has been the master
of its own destiny, able to shroud everything it does in a cloak of
unctuous sanctimony.

We are collecting stories now. They may be sent to the web site once
it is on line. The OU will be offered the opportunity to rebut the
stories though we expect it to keep its head well down.
