Hi all,

The message
from "Clive in Kent" contains these words: Hi all, Lots of foliage but no flower spikes on my acanthus this year! Anyone any ideas why this should be??? Dunno - I have several plants which *LOOK* like acanthus, grown from sweet tamarind beans (not the tamarind tree, whose leaves resemble accacia) and these have never flowered - mind you, they're only two years old. I've looked in all sorts of books, but can't find any info on sweet tamarinds.
