Default This extraordinary weather

just goes on and on and isn't it great?! Yesterday started grey and dull
but the sun ate it away and we had another really warm afternoon at around
60F. The evening became very cold once it got to around 6pm and there was a
very white lawn out there this morning - just burning off now. But we have
another gorgeous sunny day today and we must hope and pray it's a lovely day
for Mothering Sunday, too. Certainly, it's easy to see in peoples' faces
how a bit of sunshine lifts the spirits!

My potatoes are starting to break the surface now! The peas are all up.
Yesterday I erected the wigwams for runner beans and even dared to plant
some beans! If the frost gets them too bad, I'll just plant some more in
a month. I'm getting lulled into a false sense of security with this
warm weather. A foot of snow next week!
