Default Kilwinning Scotland - Eglinton estate?

Found this while surfing round on Google Maps

I'm assuming they are or were part of the Eglinton estate but I wondered if
anyone here might have more garden history knowledge to share - they seem
very formal yet a little random

This didn't strike me as odd until I realised the scale of it - kinda big
for trimmed hedges

Thanks for any help

Tim
