Yes, we'd noticed that, too. Perhaps taking the place of the honey bees
that are dying out??


Rather surprisingly, my bees seem to have come through the winter well
(despite the harsh weather up here) and are now working strongly. It's even
more surprising as these are a wild swarm that I took last summer having
lost all my hives to the dreaded 'collapse disorder' two years ago. It would
be nice to think that the bees are making a comeback.
