Default Cow Pond, The Great Park, Windsor.

Took some photos today when we went there for a picnic lunch. In all the
time we were eating and taking photos we were on our own, two dog walkers
turned up just as we were leaving but they were talking so much I doubt they
noticed anything. Don't think may people know of this treasure.

How generous of you to share it then, Bob - and what lovely photos, too.

Well it's certainly not signposted and anyone that didn't know the Park well
would never find it without a map. :-)

If anyone wants to take a look for themselves, best in the sun, I can
provide directions from Savill Gardens car park if they mail me, just head
it "Cow Pond".

I've just looked at the OS map covering Windsor Great Park, but cannot find
it, the nearest pond to Savill Gardens is called Obilisk Pond!

Do you have a map reference?

Alan
