They're usually reasonably good for spotting things you've not thought of
before. I quite like the Indi '50 best' range when they do something
relevant to me.

Looks to be carefully chosen to avoid anything that might be good
value.

It's ********. One person's magpie eye, dressed up as valid opinion.

I liked the point about the trampline being lower than many - but the
one on the grass outside the house [1] would hit the floor were it
lower. The neighbours have got round this by digging a tramp-pit under
theirs, which is fine until it rains upon which you get a very sudden
bath.

[1] Someone snaffled it off Freegle and it's become a frequent feature
of long evenings - the boys drag it out and all lark about on it.
Splendid stuff.

Item 20//50
"Based on a traditional beer barrel"? Looks like an oildrum to me.

The only thing I've liked so far is the looking-glass gate (Item 35/50).
Rather neat, that. Pricey, but it'd depend on what the mirror is made of
whether it's worth it.

I was just about to say the same thing myself.

And 145ZBU! Must be a very posh cushion, because a cut up oil drum isn't
worth anything like that much.

On the other hand, 13 and 16 do seem like clever ideas at reasonable
prices to me.

I rather like the bin storage... Need to get Himself fired up to build
a 3-bin version. (Green bin: general unrecyclable grot, Blue bin:
recyclables including glass and plastic, Brown: Garden waste) Our bins
have to sit in the front garden in view of the living room windows, so
hiding them in a bin-cozy like this is a neat idea.

Can't say I was impressed by the concrete chesterfield sofa...

I suppose my problem is I look at many things and think "I could make
that myself for a tiny proportion of that - and it'd be made to fit."

Which is fine, but most people don't have the time or inclination or
skills and have to go and work to pay for the things they want, instead.
I just work a bit and make the rest up.

Indeed, if you have a use for such things. We don't have the space for
the latter, and the garden is so small we can throw weeds almost as far
as the compost bin. The barrow'd be no good for concrete...

Ah, but what Else is down the back of it:

"Made from concrete, this is a perfect replica, right down to the
concrete coins down the back."
