Sunflowers
I have started some off in 3 inch pots. (I cannot put in final place yet) If I pot on - should I cover some of the stem like you do with tomatoes? |

If they are getting leggy I think it is always a good idea to repot and plant them very deep to the bottom of perhaps a bigger pot. And then wait, it's not been the best of springs this year. I think every gardener in the UK is holding back planting out the various flowers, veg and cutting until the weather is better. You are not alone, we are all frothing at the mouth hoping for spring to actually spring. Good luck Baz |
