We had a bit of frost on the garden this morning. One corner of a south
facing border always seems to get more than any other part but I
suppose that's because further along it has some tree cover. According
to the temperature gizmo on my computer it's -1C in Plymouth at
present. Everyone on the nursery is wrapped in several layers of warm
clothing, which is then slowly removed, stage by stage, when they're
working in the greenhouses, on which the sun is happily shining atm!
Enough is retained to preserve their modesty! ;-)

It's 9C here and damp. The Daily Mail's forecast of Arctic weather didn't
materialise as usual.

My daughter will be in Amsterdam this week - what's the weather forecast
for the area?

You will have to wait a day for Sunday's forecast.

I'll forward that to her, thanks. It's a short business trip - arriving
Wednesday, leaving Friday.

I hope she has nice weather. Yesterday was nice so it is possible.

I'm crossing my fingers!

The bad news is that it is gloomy and damp today, but at least it is 8C and not
raining ATM. There's a graphic version of the Dutch forecast with a rain radar

The forecast is drizzle for the next two days

Better than sleet...
Her plane arrived early, and she's just checked into the hotel - with a
US credit card. No chip&pin, unfortunately...

Did you see the sloppy toy soldiers changing the guard all morning?

No, she was working, so I figured I'd watch again tomorrow afternoon
when she's between meetings.
