I have wanted a stacking worm composter for ages but finance has not been available so I have decided that I absolutely must be able to build something with old tyres and sheets of rigid mesh of some sort,sitting over a sump, it must be viable.
Any links, ideas,or even a proverbial plan would be greatly appreciated.

Much better to get some timber even the 4 by2 sections of pallets would do
and make up frames approx 2 ft square and attach the mesh to them
Or tailor the size to the mesh sheet size
Tyres would not be a very easy thing to deal with

The bottom frame needs a solid base with some kind of tap /drainage into an
ice cream tub or similar
Suggest you use the slats of the pallet close board style and then line it
with some heavy plastic or an old plastic washing up bowl
