Regards Jeff use a fork to break up the surface, sprinkle good seed over the area, throw some general compost over the top and tread down, water well and it will grow. MrCheerful |

Raking it in or covering it as you have done is a good idea, but you really must make sure you keep it moist until the roots have gone deep enough to withstand the very fast desiccation you get this time of year. And it dries fast as well....... -- __________________________________________ Gareth Jones "Reality sucks - go watch a Star Trek" To email, remove the '_ns_' from __________________________________________ |

It is absolutely imperative to water the seeds every day until the grass is
matured enough. Usually around 3 weeks. "Gareth Jones" wrote in message ... In article , Poundhound writes What is the best way to grow grass from seeds.
