I had a little plum tree :-(

The plum tree in question is 3 years old, it produced quite a few plums
last year but this year there was no blossom at all. Our small pony who
is allowed to pick on the lawn also decided to eat one side of the tree
!!! Now what do I do with it,prune now and if so how much do I take off?
