If you have a Wholesale florist in your area you might find them doing bulbs
by the sack that way as long as you collect no carriage.

Walkers of Holbeach, Spalding, Lincs. offer several large bulb collections
in their current catalogue also most specialist daffodil growers offer bulk
buys of varieties which were bred but not released into commerce. I have had
a few good deals this way over the years. Alternatively why not check out
your local horticultural society. I am sure their trading secretary or
equivalent would be only too glad to help.
