Default George Cave apples

It's apple tree temptation time again and I'd like to squeeze in two or
three this year while resolving to buy no more next year! Last year I
went for extending the season of use at the late end and this year I'm
thinking about the early end of the season. I have Discovery' but have
seen 'George Cave' mentioned as just a week or so earlier. Another one,
'Vista Bella' is apparently even earlier ripening in July.

I assume 'Vista Bella' isn't very good because if it was early *and*
good, it would presumably be quite popular. Does anyone grow 'George
Cave' and like it? If anyone grows 'George Cave' and 'Discovery' it
would be interesting to know whether one is significantly earlier than
the other.
