Life before

When Jane and I were looking for a new house to move into, high up on
our wish-list was a garden. Ten years of living in London flats with
no outside space resulted in the fantasy of long sunny afternoons
spent meandering, cool drink in hand, among the flowerbeds, sniffing
roses and admiring the topiary.
