The hedge is now about 5-6ft tall. My neighbour was apprehensive at the time and on his recommendation I trimmed the hedge 4 times a year. I don't know what conifers you have planted, but early freqent pruning and trimming is recommended. Last year was very dry in the UK and this would not have helped. David T |
