Better to shoot cats...
 
Just a thought. Rather than poison, It would be much better to get a .22 air
rifle and shoot the damn things. That way when they go back to their owners
they drip blood all over the carpet and also the owner gets a vets bill.

they could be skinned and eaten. At least you would know that it would be

cats this you should read.

However cats where would we be without them.
Small boys going fishing with cat gut line
Operations and the like with cat gut stitching
Bowmen of England with cat gut strings for the bows
Ladies gloves
Rabbit pie
Air force pilot had cats eyes during 2nd. world war
perhaps you know more

An old English long-bow is a much better idea.
1) You'd probably miss, but get close enough to frighten it away for ever.

2) If you did hit it, it's nicely scewered and easy to lift up and put into
the bin.
