Default Better to shoot cats...

Just a thought. Rather than poison, It would be much better to get a .22 air
rifle and shoot the damn things. That way when they go back to their owners
they drip blood all over the carpet and also the owner gets a vets bill.

OR,

they could be skinned and eaten. At least you would know that it would be
safer. :-))

An old English long-bow is a much better idea.
1) You'd probably miss, but get close enough to frighten it away for ever.

2) If you did hit it, it's nicely scewered and easy to lift up and put into
the bin.
