Acacia Pravissima care
[X-posted and FU set - (gardeners have a SOH too and I suspect will
enjoy the peek into my perversity)] In message , Peter B writes "dave @ stejonda" wrote in message ... I have an Acacia Pravissmia (Oven's Wattle) in a large pot. It was described as bushy but the ?branches are getting very long. Should I prune them back? and if so by how much and when? If you want to trim your bush it's none of my business but seeing as you asked here's my thruppence worth: Presumably if it's very lush it might be uncomfortable now the weather's warming up but I can't imagine it showing if you wear proper Lycra cycling shorts, if you cycle in a thong well, that's another matter but really I'd advise the aforementioned lycra shorts. I know people have strange alias's for their Old Man and really it's none of my business, like I said, but what's the pot all about, or should I even ask? Thank-you sincerely for your invaluable advice Pete. My bush is sadly lacking in lushness at the moment hence my request for advice. Since I'm also hoping that the blossom soon to cover my bush will be brighter than most lycra cycling shorts and certainly more fragrant perhaps there might be further advice forthcoming from other people. -- dave @ stejonda |
