Aren't you being just a tiney-whezzy bit silly about this ?

My apologies, yes. It was an error of judgement to respond to your
question as if you were educable, but it won't happen again. Good

luck
with garden questions to the rugby group.

Sweet Janet,

Try going back to the original query for this thread and then check the
irrelevant thread drift.
Does the various sects of Judaism have any relevance to
hedgehogs/slugs/snails ?
And there are two supposed adults accusing each other of being homosexual
and/or lesbian.
How do you make this out ?
Surely this is more annoying that cross posting.

You sound like a lovely person yourself apart from being a net nannie.

The purpose of presenting my query to three like groups simultaneously was
to reach a wider interested (emphasis on interested) audience - call it
scatter gun if you like but apart from this ninny group I have had no
problems elsewhere in the past.

Keep Smiling - It's catching.

Always look on the Bright side of life Brian (sorry Janet)

Happppppppppppppppppy Everythings,

Then have the good manners to address the three groups separately. It
is very easy to copy post.

Franz Sweetie,

You are of course right it is possible to copy/paste separately to three or
even thirty-three groups if so inclined.
Of course it means checking each and every group for replies but nil
presperadium (no sweat) as they say.
But think of it another way people who are narrow enough to only check one
N.G., (or don't have the time you appear to have), could miss out on
responses and nausea thread drifts such as this query has spawned.

And what the heck ?.
Explain to this dumbo again why cross-posting is so offensive.
And why, if it is so objectionable, does the server make cross-posting
possible ? ? ? ?.

I have cross-posted for six years on and off without a single problem

Had everyone stuck to giving a reply to the original query instead of self
opinionated inputs, which ultimately had no bearing, the world would go on
happpppppily spinning instead of almost coming to a stop.

Keep Smiling - it's catching.

Quite: people don't, and this is why crossposting is generally unwelcome.

It has its uses, and I don't agree with the blanket condemnation the
practice has invoked here, but due to its abuses I kill anything which
is crossposted to more than two groups.

Hi,

Probably an old Chestnut but am new to this N.G.

Could someone please advise if hedgehogs should be encouraged or

discouraged
in the garden.

Also what is the role of the snail and slug ?

Thank you in anticipation,

Happppppppppppppppy Everythings,

LenBo, Weston-SUPER-Mare

Slugs exist to do two things:

1) They function as little janitors.
2) They gross out 12 year old girls, which is a worthwhile thing, according
to my son.

Nice going. How's your arse?

That's a comparatively modern usage - in fact, 'nice' in its firs
recorded form is far closer to the context in which it's used these
days.

How's yours?

My Mammy taught me that it was wrong to answer a question with another
question.
