Default spiders over connifers - how to get rid of them

We moved into a house last year and early summer we noticed lots of tiny red spiders crawling everwhere. This year there appears to be webs all over are conifers and any other corner/ plant (rose archs, tall lilies etc).

Any ideas how to get rid of these pests?

Actually they are not pests, the red spider mite isn't red at all but
the little red spiders are just common garden insects. The webs and
nests of spiders are just common garden spiders and are not a pest
either, in fact they eat and catch many real pests.

They may not be pests in one sense, but having cobwebs everywhere one turns is beginning to be a real irk!

Look on the bright side - the spiders are probably keeping the aphids
under control, so you aren't suffering from resin all over the tree
and/or distorted leaves. Get rid of the spiders and ....

you need to sell up and move into a nice spider free minimalistic flat
with a balcony you can put some pots with plastic shrubs on.

Dunno..."balcony" suggests opening doors, which risks nature invading
the habitat.
