Yes, I grow lots of them, and I always remove raggedy foliage. Beware
of just pulling it away, however, because the leaf stem is quite tough
and you can easily damage the plant.

Some Heucheras, and perhaps Heucherellas and Tiarellas have the habit of
pushing themselves out of the ground. These can be lifted and replanted
at the correct level.

Thanks, Spider. I planted 2 Heucheras in clay soil last year. They are in
full shade and they seemed to do ok. Currently, one of them, Green Spine has
woken up and producing new growth. The other, Delta Dawn so far hasn't shown
new signs of life yet. Should I be concerned?
