It's that time of year again, when the wasps start to appear in
ever increasing numbers.

Whilst they are useful polinating the autumn raspberries, they
are also a pain, eating them! Nearly got stung this morning
whilst picking, just noticed in time the big hole with a wasp
sitting in it!

I put a a crude trap, sugary water in a plastic bottle, with
the top inverted which catches some of them, but is there a
better way to deter them ((other than finding and destroying
their nest!).

For some reason the wasps this year prefer loganberries to my
lovely sugary mixture in the trap. They are getting better than
me at finding the really ripe ones! Grrrr
