Default Wasps

It's that time of year again, when the wasps start to appear in
ever increasing numbers.

Whilst they are useful polinating the autumn raspberries, they
are also a pain, eating them! Nearly got stung this morning
whilst picking, just noticed in time the big hole with a wasp
sitting in it!

I put a a crude trap, sugary water in a plastic bottle, with
the top inverted which catches some of them, but is there a
better way to deter them ((other than finding and destroying
their nest!).
