The bag says:

"The wrapper containing your magazines is 100%
recyclable - please treat this as you would a supermarket
carrier bag or similar plastic and recycle it.

Recyclable doesn't mean that it will break down into harmless particles
if left in your garden. It just means that it is made of a material
that can be recycled unlike some transparent films of the past which
always had to be sent to landfill.
