Hello,

I am looking for suggestions for background plants. At the moment, the
back of my tank is covered in twisted vallis, but I am contemplating a
change. For one thing, they grow too long and trail over the surface of
the tank, blocking light to the rest of the plants.

I have successfully grown cabomba and similar before. I am tempted to go
for these again, but am looking for something that will not require
chopping and replanting so often. Trouble with those plants is that you
snip off the tops and what is left looks straggly. You can replant the
tops, but you end up spending the whole day gardening.

Any suggestions welcome. Tank is 150 litre, 3x40W lights, soft acidic
water, DIY CO2, no noticeable nitrite or ammonia, nitrates almost zero.
