My favorite damselfly incident.

I do a lot of netting out of the frog bog in the
summer and find all sorts of neat critters.

I had a damselfly nymph and a blood worm and water in one of my wedgewood white
china dishes (who'da known when I registered for that china what I would use it
for...)
Anyway the damselfly swims up the bloodworm and proceeds to eat it!
Since the damselfly was basically translucent I could see the bloodworm's
progess as it was chomped up by the damselfly. Pretty soon all the bloodworm
was inside the nymph.

(yes, my daughter thinks I'm crazy too... she especially doesn't like jars of
tadpoles on the kitchen table)
