if is suspended phyloalgaesp shade
lee and I both have delt with that same weird dark green algae that pops
up in clumps from the bottom the only thing to do with it is just keep
neting it out it seems to me to be an early summer/temprature related
thing
the water does an inversion, the bottom layer of water rises to the top
and brings that stuff with it. last year it lasted 2-3 weeks for me
this year it only lasted three days

if its the bright lime green algae with air bubbles in it a garden rake
will get it out its and overgrowth of the good string algae

I have all kinds of plants in my pond but still cant get rid of the
phyloalgae I have a bushell of duck weed on order I hope that will
provide enough shade and competition combined with my present plants to
lighten the algae a bit
