I have a question about peas, and stringing them up....

If you do not string them up, will they grow slower? Mine are now
only 3-4 inches tall and am wondering when to start to train them on
some sort of growing vine web.

No: but assuming you mean English Peas,(Pisum Sativum) the tall varieties will
sprawl all over making it easier for slugs and other such critters to pick them
than you. The short (dwarf) varieties can benfit from support but it not
