unless this is a bog type filter (doesnt get cleaned) with rocks no more than 1 inch
under the top of the water it is going to be difficult to clean up. I wrap plants
that dont "stand up" in the pot in polyester batting. the water flows right thru it.
I actually have hanging baskets with flowers in dirt, those just touch the surface of
the water to "self water".. between those I tuck the plants like water celery and
cyperus (papyrus) ... I tie the cyperus to the fencing behind them with those flat
plastic ties with their roots in the water. Ingrid
