double Jackmanni - help! :-)
I have neve used any google groups before so I hope I am doing this
right. Thanks for all your input. My co-worker referred to the
clematis as a "double jackmani" - she said the white blooms are about
8 to 10" big...some even bigger. I'll research "Alba" and see what I
find. Thanks all! If you have any other input, pls let me know.

There is a C. jackmanii 'Alba' that will often throw double flowers in
its first bloom flush. Most good clematis mail order sources should
offer it - not all that uncommon. Very vigorous, very easy to grow.

Double white jackmanni what? I'm probably wrong, but the
only jackmannii I know of is the Clematis jackmannii and
it's not double and it's not white.
