Default Greenhouse Runner Beans

Thank you all for your imput. The beans I am growing are white flowered and
have always been successful in the past. However this is a new green house
in a different position and facing a different direction. Again thank you
all.

Having trouble with my runners ; they are a white self pollinating

variety
growing extremely well with masses of flowers. These unfortunately are

not
setting and are falling off. The house is well ventillated at all times

with
doors and vents open fully. the roots are kept moist not sopping and

other
plants are also growing well. when I have similar problems outside I

watered
with a strong lime mix which helped ; not to keen to use this method in

the
house.

You might do better with climbing french beans under glass. I grow the

very old variety 'Caseknife' and trying this year
a newish one 'Algarve' which seems to be doing OK. In any case spray over

the plants as often as you can while watering.
