Save roundup and $$$ by brushing the roundup on. Try 5% (vol) solution
for starters. Do it on a hot day/warm afternoon, so it gets taken into
roots. Best solution would have been to pain the root stem when you cut
it back (if it was leafy at the time = juices flowing).
