Default Correct Tomato PH??

What is the proper soil PH range for
tomatoes...

The optimum pH for most vegetables including tomatoes is 6.5 with a range of
6.0 to 7.0---zone and climate are generally not factors related to pH

In my experience, low pH, too much water, and not enough sun are all
contributing factors for too much acidity. OTOH, tomatoes grown in
alkaline soil in the desert are much too sweet. This said, tomatoes
are amongst the most pH tolerant veggies.

Best to try some tomatoes one year, then give them shade, or sun, or
wood ashes or whatnot to adjust taste the next year.
