As you can see from the above reference, tomatoes are not picky at all
regarding pH. They will grow in a blueberry patch or a butter bean patch.

In my experience, low pH, too much water, and not enough sun are all
contributing factors for too much acidity. OTOH, tomatoes grown in
alkaline soil in the desert are much too sweet. This said, tomatoes
are amongst the most pH tolerant veggies.

Best to try some tomatoes one year, then give them shade, or sun, or
wood ashes or whatnot to adjust taste the next year.
